Welcome to the first giveaway of my 8 Nights of Chrismukkah giveaway! I will be giving away a book each night of Hannukah, as well as having some interviews, sneak peeks and more. Tonight is the first night:
RK Lilley is here! RK Lilley is the writer of the Up In The Air Series. (See the series order here)
When reserved flight attendant Bianca gets one look at billionaire hotel owner James Cavendish, she loses all of her hard-won composure. For a girl who can easily juggle a tray of champagne flutes at 35,000 feet in three inch heels, she finds herself shockingly weak-kneed from their first encounter. The normally unruffled Bianca can’t seem to look away from his electrifying turquoise gaze. They hold a challenge, and a promise, that she finds impossible to resist, and she is a girl who is used to saying no and meaning it.
Bianca is accustomed to dealing with supermodels and movie stars in her job as a first class flight attendant, but James Cavendish puts them all to shame in the looks department. If only it were just his looks that she found so irresistible about the intimidating man, Bianca could have ignored his attentions. But what tempts her like never before is the dominant pull he seems to have over her from the moment they meet, and the promise of pleasure, and pain, that she reads in his eyes.
This book is intended for ages 18 and up.
I loved this book! See my review here.
James and Bianca’s tumultuous story continues in the sequel to In Flight.
James has initiated Bianca into a dark and drugging world of passion and pain. He taught her about her own submissive, masochistic nature, and she fell swiftly and deeply in love with the undeniably charming and impossibly beautiful Mr. Cavendish, but a painful misunderstanding and the return of the brutally violent demon of her past have combined to overwhelm Bianca, and, confused and hurt, she pushes him away.
It’s been over a month since the shocking attack that hospitalized her, and since she told a distraught James that she needed space, but her feelings haven’t gone away. Even she knew that it was only a matter of time before he would cast his spell on her again…
I loved this book too! Here is my review.
Book 3, Grounded, is set to release February 12, 2012 YES!!!!!! IT WAS BUMPED UP!. RK has a great excerpt on her website at http://www.rklilley.com
I asked RK to share with me her favorite part of the holidays right now, her favorite holiday memory, and what she loves most about the holidays. Here is her response:
My favorite thing about the holidays right now is that my three-year old is singing Jingle Bells nearly every waking moment. He mispronounces it until it sounds like “Dingle Balls.” My seven-year old thinks he is doing it on purpose and takes it personally, and my husband and I are batting zero at keeping a straight face when they do this.
I totally get this! It is so hard not to laugh at them when you know you shouldn’t!
My favorite holiday memory growing up was my mother’s love for Christmas, which she passed on to me in spades. We had a big family, very little money, and my dad was mostly absent, but she made up for it all with pure enthusiasm. It wasn’t about spending money, but time. She’d read us endless stories about the season, and bake cookies and fudge for days.
Aaaw, that’s lovely. Glad to see you’re passing it along. That’s what the holidays are all about!
What I love most about the holidays is knowing that the feelings we give our children about that time of year will last a lifetime.
I agree. I was just wondering if my kids will go as nuts for the holidays as I do (and we celebrate both!)
Thank you RK, for visiting Ana’s Attic and giving away BOTH books to one lucky winner! Just follow the Rafflecopter instructions below.
